How do I prepare clothing -

It is important that you try all of your outfits on ahead of time. Make sure they fit to your liking (Ideally more form fitting). Make sure the colors are complimentary to your skin, hair and eyes. Avoid colors that blend with your skin tone, or that are so stark in contrast that they steal the attention from your face. Know that layering and colors are great. Even subtle patters. But again, this photo should be focused on your eyes and expression, so your outfit choice should enhance the character or demeanor you intend to display.

Iron your clothing. Carry them in a way that does not crush or disfigure your clothing. And find inspiration in the actors you know and love. If you need inspiration, try making a Pinterest board of actors that have a similar complexion, hair texture, or character type that you admire. If you’re having trouble, call me!

Performance Prep -

You will perform well when you feel well. I will always coach you, play games with you and do my best to capture you in your best light. And before you arrive, make sure that you are in a mental state that is uplifting and ready to experiment. You are no longer you. You are a gift to this world and you intend to share your light. So knock out those tasks, get sleep, hydrate, eat well, be in the physical condition that you are proud of, and be captured as the shining creative or professional that you are.

Communication -

I am dedicated to your satisfaction. It is my aim to create an excellent customer experience for all of my clients. In order to do so, I require that you speak your needs at all times, ask for the modifications your require, and know that I am on your side as my client. Communication is key.

Location Choice and Add Ons -

By default, my headshot session are set in my studio in Alhambra, CA. I provide a host of colored paper backdrops for clean elegant looks, as well as the ability to shoot in the surrounding area.

Terms and Conditions

Delivery:

• Clients will receive a lightly culled and enhanced photo gallery within 48hrs of shooting.

• Retouched images are returned within 7 business days of client selection.

• All photos delivered via www.Pixieset.com or Google Drive

• Retouching $45/image

Rescheduling/Cancellation

• Clients may reschedule once. Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the shoot will not be honored and will result in a Cancellation with no return of booking retainer.

• Cancellation: Booking retainer payments are non-refundable. In order to maintain an efficient calendar, I ask that all clients be certain they can commit to their date. Once you have committed, it is your responsibility to attend your session.

• Cancellation Addendum: If I, for any reason, cannot provide the promised session, all monies paid shall be returned within 30 business days.

Usage

• All photos taken during your session are for non-commercial use. Commercial use is defined as directly or indirectly utilized for profit. Examples, selling a workshop, imprinting the photo onto merchandise to be sold, or selling the image to a third party. This is distinct from mentioning that you have a business, submitting for an opportunity, having an article written about you. You are welcome to use your images for these purposes. In short, these images may not be used for the sale of any product or service. Nor shall these images be used as embedded imagery on merchandise, nor promotional materials intended to generate income (Concert ticket links, book sales, profit bearing ads).
